Nottingham Forest look home and hosed in terms of Champions League qualification after their midweek 1-0 win over Man Utd, while Wolves look safe for another season. Attention now turns to gameweek 31 in the Premier League. Here is our latest acca.

Crystal Palace Crystal Palace vs Brighton and Hove Albion Brighton

Details: Saturday, April 5th, 3.00 pm, Selhurst Park

I had to start with this one has these two clubs really do not like each other. It seem strange to call this a derby as they are 40 miles away from each other but their fans will confirm it is a heated rivalry. Palace, of course, are full of beans at the moment, securing their place in the F.A Cup quarter finals and on a great run of form. They would love nothing more that to put one over their great rivals this weekend.

Brighton fell on penalties in their cup quarter final against Forest, a horrible way to lose being so close to Wembley. Still, they have it all to play for in the league. They are not far off from the Champions League places and a strong finish will see them secure European football, which would be an excellent first season in the dugout for Fabian Fabian Hürzeler.

I think this could be an entertaining score draw.

Draw @ 5/2

Aston Villa Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest Nottingham Forest

Details: Saturday, April 5th, 5.30 pm, Villa Park

This is a clash between two teams who are having excellent seasons. Villa have a Champions League quarter final against PSG on the horizon and booked their place in the last four of the F.A Cup last weekend thanks to a 3-0 win at Preston. What a campaign from Unai Emery’s men, and they are still in the hunt for a Champions League place through the league, as well. Marcus Rashford looks to be finding form again and this could turn out to be a season to remember in that part of Birmingham.

Forest have one foot in the top four now surely after beating Utd on Tuesday. They moved 8 points clear of fourth placed Chelsea and you can’t see them losing their grip from here. It was a typical Forest display in the win over Utd, let the opposition have the ball and kill them on transition. When you have a solid defence and the electric pace of Anthony Elanga, you can do that.

I am sitting on the fence again for this one with a draw, which will suit Forest more than Villa.

Draw @ 13/5

Details: Sunday, April 6th, 4.30 pm, Old Trafford

I finish this week’s acca with a Manchester derby at Old Trafford. Utd weren’t that bad on Tuesday, arguably at least deserved a draw but they just couldn’t find a way past a stubborn Forest defence. This season is all about the Europa League now for the Red Devils, the league season is done but Ruben Amorim and the club would absolutely love to put a dent in City’s Champions League hopes here.

There was good and bad news from City’s win over Bournemouth in the cup last weekend. The good news, of course, was the fact City came from behind with a good second half performance to make it to the semi-finals. The bad news is they have lost Erling Haaland for the majority of the season after he suffered an injury in that game. Time for Omar Marmoush to step up.

I am going against the grain here, and think Utd will raise there game for this one and come away with a surprise win.

Some huge games which have significant ramifications for the European places in the league this weekend. You can tell I think these games will be close, calling two of them a draw. All the games have something riding on them and I have also gone for a shock in there, too.
