An upset at Stamford Bridge for the champions, another Manchester United hammering and more heartache for Arsenal. Elsewhere, the Champions League spots are heating up with just three games left to go.

Let’s look at the Betting Tools betting tips for the weekend in the Premier League.

Bournemouth Bournemouth vs Aston Villa Aston Villa

Details: Saturday, May 10th, 12.30 pm, Vitality Stadium

With the top five getting Champions League football for next season and sixth getting into the Europa League, there is a situation where seventh place can get the Europa League action too. This would also mean eighth gets Europa Conference League football.

This will rely on Manchester City winning the FA Cup, for which they are massive favourites. But, regardless, it makes this match against eighth-placed Bournemouth against seventh-placed Aston Villa absolutely gargantuan in the fight for, at the very least, the Europa League.

Bournemouth stunned Arsenal at the Emirates last week with a comeback win and now trail Villa by seven points. This momentum and being at home should be enough for the Cherries to keep up their European hopes.

The odds are pretty crazy for this one, with Bournemouth only very narrowly the favourites. Regardless, I think they’ll win, but surely there is a goal in it for both teams.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Wolves vs Brighton and Hove Albion Brighton

Details: Saturday, May 10th, 3.00 pm, Molineux

This is a meaningless game for Wolves but – just like above – a huge one for Brighton in the race for Europe.

In this hectic battle for the European spots, only two points separates Fulham in 11th and Bournemouth in eighth. Ultimately, at this stage in the season, none of Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth and Fulham can afford to drop points.

With this in mind, we’re going all in on a Brighton win, because, in reality, they kind of have to. The Seagulls do have a dodgy defensive record with 56 being let in being the most inside the top 12, with ironically the next team below in the table who have let in more being Wolves themselves.

The Midlands side have come on stronger at the final hurdle of this Premier League season, however, as they have racked up wins over Leicester City, United, Tottenham Hotspur, Ipswich Town and Southampton – this means just two losses in their past 10, in regular time.

Brighton are good odds for this one, and the south coast side should be a great acca builder.

Newcastle United Newcastle vs chelsea logo Chelsea

Details: Sunday, May 11th, 3.00 pm, St James’ Park

In line with the theme of this acca builder for the weekend’s action, this is a must-win for a spot in the Champions League.

In reality, both Chelsea and Newcastle are expected to get into the Champions League, occupying the fifth and fourth spots, respectively. However, with Nottingham Forest in sixth two points behind and Villa in seventh just three points behind the both of them, the tense nature of this game could swing the match either way.

You could argue the momentum is with the Blues, given their win over the champions Liverpool last week, and with Cole Palmer back amongst the goals.

Then again, the Magpies bagged 19 goals in the six games throughout April, while their stunning EFL Cup final win over Liverpool has only made them stronger with the 4-1 battering from Villa the only loss in the eight games since.

A 2-1 Newcastle win here is 15/2. A draw is 13/5. However, as Eddie Howe’s men are at home, we’re backing them just as an outright winner.
