The FA Cup games have come back around again and after pulling off one of the greatest shocks we have seen in recent times, Plymouth Argyle will be looking to replicate the feat as they travel to the home of the PL champions, Man City.

Who will make it the quarters? Here is our FA Cup acca.

Bournemouth Bournemouth vs  Wolverhampton Wanderers Wolves

Details: Saturday, March 1st,3.00 pm, Vitality Stadium

After suffering a home league defeat to Wolves last weekend in a result that shocked a lot of people, Bournemouth get a chance to exact revenge straight away. The Cherries were reduced to ten men after half an hour in that 1-0 defeat, centre back Illia Zabarnyi being given his marching orders for dangerous play. Still, it was a setback for Bournemouth in what has been a fantastic season up to this point.

For Wolves, it was a vital and huge three points, as it took them further away from the bottom three. Matheus Cunha, who has been the standout player all season, was once again the difference and you feel Wolves will struggle to keep hold of him in the summer as bigger clubs circle. Success for Wolves this season is remaining in the Premier League, but a trip to Wembley wouldn’t go amiss, either.

I think Bournemouth will strike back in this one and get the win.

Manchester United Logo Manchester Utd vs Fulham Fulham

Details: Sunday, March 2nd, 4.30 pm, Old Trafford

It was another rollercoaster of an evening for Ruben Amorim and Man Utd on Wednesday. The Red Devils conceded a comical goal to fall behind to Ipswich, got in front, then got a man sent off but ultimately got over the line in a 3-2 win. If nothing else, they showed character to get the three points with ten men. Amorim admitted after the game they are playing better in a system he doesn’t want to play, which seems far from ideal.

Fulham were very disappointing in their home defeat to Palace last week, looking bereft of ideas and spark which has been really unlike them for most of the season. Marco Silva will got a quick response in midweek and what better way to carry on that momentum in a prime time game at Old Trafford. They certainly have the players to hurt Utd, and a team like Fulham, safe in the league, should be targeting cup success.

I think Fulham can pull of the shock here and get through.

Nottingham Forest Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich

Details: Monday, March 3rd, 7.30 pm, City Ground

The fifth round games wrap up with a Monday night clash at the City Ground. I think we can safely say that at this stage it is no fluke, Forest are a good team and should be taken seriously. They proved it again in midweek, holding title challengers Arsenal to a goalless draw and they also had chances to win it. While Champions League football is there for them, a cup win would be fantastic for a club who have been starved for success for so long. It would turn what has been a superb season into an unforgettable one.

It was a very damaging defeat for Ipswich on Wednesday. Despite playing against ten men for over a half, they couldn’t even grab a point after succumbing to three set piece goals at Old Trafford. They have shown plenty of signs of being competitive this season but the gap to safety is now five points. They need wins soon and I’m not sure if they cup is their current priority.

I think Forest will make it to the quarters with a comfortable home win.

With all of the provisos of this being the Cup, this looks like a tasty treble. Bournemouth will be smarting after losing to Wolves last week and will want revenge. The one that could go either way I think is Man Utd but they are very vulnerable while Forest should be too strong for Ipswich at home.
