The final unbeaten team fell in week 11, as the Buffalo Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs thanks to an amazing Josh Allen play. The AFC race has just got more interesting.
Elsewhere, the Lions continue to score at will while for the second consecutive week, a game was decided thanks to a blocked field goal. Let’s tap in to week 12.

Dallas Cowboys @
Washington Commanders
It was always going to be a tough test for the Commanders traveling to Philly on Thursday Night Football, and so it proved. Like most teams this season, they couldn’t handle Saquon Barkley, who ran all over them to the tune of 146 yards and two TDs. They were competitive in the game and mostly held the Eagles in check until the floodgates opened in the fourth quarter. It is now two straight defeats for Washington but there will be no panic, it has been a good season so far and they have enough to rebound.
I think the Commanders end their two game losing streak here.

New England Patriots @
Miami Dolphins
While their record is poor, there has been a few signs of life in New England since Drake Maye took over as the starting QB. It has given fans a boost to see what their hopeful quarterback of the future is capable of, and he has certainly shown flashes that he can be the man in Foxborough. He threw for 282 yards ant two TDs in defeat against the Rams last week, but made some big time plays along the way. With a lack of weapons at his disposal, the Pats will hope they can load up in the draft and have a real go next year.
Things have certainly turned for the better for the Dolphins since Tua returned to the lineup. After an excellent win over the Rams in week 10, Maimi followed it up with a comprehensive victory over the Raiders last week, with Tua throwing for 288 yards and three TDs. His favourite receiver on the day was tight end Jonnu Smith, who who recorded 102 receiving yards and two TDs. This team just looks so much better with Tua on the field and at 4-6 is still in the playoff hunt.
I think the Dolphins will continue to roll here.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @
New York Giants
Both of these teams come into week 12 after having their bye week last week and both lost last time out in week 10. The Bucs really needed a rest after getting banged up, particularly on offense. Chis Godwin is lost for the season while fellow receiver Mike Evans has been hurt recently but should make it back for this one. Baker Mayfield has been really tough and durable this season and the Bucs will need him to show more of that for the rest of the season to make the playoffs.
The most interesting thing to follow regarding the Giants this week will be who starts under center. It looks like Daniel Jones will be moved to the bench after head coach Brian Daboll said they will be “assessing everything” during the bye. Most fans will likely think it is about time as he has not been good enough this season, plain and simple.
It might not be pretty, but I think the Bucs will get the dub.

Denver Broncos @
Las Vegas Raiders
What a weekend it was for the Broncos. Bo Nix had his best game yet in the NFL, throwing for 307 yards and four TDs as Denver dismantled the Falcons on the road, 38-6. There was a lot of doubt when the Broncos drafted Nix at No12 overall in April, but he is getting better by the week and is making head coach Sean Payton look like a genius. This Denver team has a lot of talent on offense and a stifling defense. At 6-5 they are primed for a run.
How the Raiders wished they had a QB like Nix at the moment. It has been a revolving door at the position this year in Las Vegas. Last week, Gardner Minshew got the start and had a decent day, throwing for 282 yards and two TDs on the day. There is some promise on this team. Rookie tight end Brock Bowers had a great day, with 126 receiving yards and a TD. I am sure a lot of eyes will already be on the draft in Las Vegas as they look to secure their QB of the future.
Denver will have too much in this one.

Pittsburgh Steelers @
Cleveland Browns
The Steelers are becoming a big thing in the AFC as the Russell Wilson redemption arc continues. They slugged it out against the Ravens last week, with their defense once again coming up trumps to secure a gritty 18-16 win. Grit personifies this team, they have the best defensive player in the league in T.J Watt and their run game will grind you into submission. They don’t ask Wilson to do anything spectacular, and that has proven to be key so far.
It was another miserable day for the Browns as they were hammered 35-14 in New Orleans. It is another lost season in Cleveland and the everyone at the organization will be under scrutiny come the summer.

Week 12 Parlay Picks
I managed to get a win last week, and the Broncos helped with that, so am backing them once again. The Commanders are on a two game skid so a slight risk but I have faith in Jayden Daniels and co to bounce back. The Dolphins are on a roll while the Bucs should have too much for a Giants team in a mess. I have also gone for a low scoring affair with the Steelers, who don’t have an all singing offense but can shut teams down on defense.
