Launched at the end of 2023, Sportzino is the social sportsbook that does almost everything right. I’m talking about the number of covered major sports leagues, which is 45, the variety of betting markets, and the available free bonuses—you get a $10 no deposit in Sweeps Coins for signing up.
I’ll walk you through why I love this mix of a social sweeps site and a sportsbook, as well as the bonuses, features, designated mobile app, payment options, and more.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Pre-game and in-game predictions | Parlay winnings constraints |
| Options to win prizes by climbing weekly leaderboards | Can have performance issues |
| Bespoke Android App | 0% margin perk does not apply for live bets |
| Multiple promotional packages for new members | No Native App for iOS Yet |
| Exclusive bonus |
My Verdict on Sportzino Sportsbook
I love Sportzino for 3 main reasons. First, it gives 10 free SC, which translates to a $10 no deposit, while other social sportsbooks barely get to 3 SC.
Second, we’ve got to admire the sports selection. Compared to Thrillzz with 15+ sports and Fliff with 10+, Sportzino is a giant, with 44 major sports coverage and virtual horse & dog races that you won’t find anywhere. We are always testing out new social sportsbooks to see who is the best, and Sportzino really stands out from the crowd. Even when we put Sportszino up against Fliff, one of the oldest, most established operators out there, Sportszino more than holds its ground.
Third, and I’d like to give them special credit for this, is the boosted parlay option, which offers up to 10% on selected markets and includes live odds. So, what’s the thing I don’t like? You can’t win more than 1,000 SC on one prediction, even if the odds go higher.
There is now a growing number of sites like Sportzino, but let’s have a look at what really sets them out from the pack in this review.
Welcome Bonus
Sportzino welcomes you with a free sign up package of 220,000 Gold Coins and 10 free Sweeps Coins, which I love! But to get the full deal, you must use our links and go through multiple steps, and I know the latter could be a dealbreaker to some.
Here’s the full breakdown:
- Use our link to include 50,000 GC + 3 SC extra
- Create an account to get 20,000 GC + 1 SC
- Use your Google Account to get an additional 20,000 GC + 1 SC
- Connect your Facebook account to get 20,000 GC + 1 SC
- Verify your phone number to get 30,000 GC + 1 SC
- Accept email notifications and promotions to get 30,000 GC + 1 SC
- Accept SMS notifications to get 30,000 GC + 1 SC
- Claim your first daily login bonus to get 20,000 GC + 1 SC
Also, if you decide to purchase more coins, there’s a $19.99 package that brings 1,350,000 GC + 35 free SC.
Sportzino Minimum Redemption
The minimum redemption on the Sportzino site is $50, which means you must have 50 Sweeps Coins to earn real money prizes from your free-play. It is also important to note that you cannot win any real money prizes from SC Coins without meeting the playthrough requirement. Any Sweeps Coins you win from playing games can be redeemed indefinitely.
Getting Started
Creating an account is simple, but you must go through a few verification steps. This isn’t my favorite thing about the social sportsbook, but I’d say it’s worth it.
To get started, you should:
- Use our link
- Enter your personal information
- Agree to the T&Cs
- Verify your email
- Verify your phone number.
I do like that you can start placing predictions at this point, even without claiming the full welcome bonus. Instead of using a Google account, I just opted to get the $2.99 pack that got me 160,000 GC + 7 SC.
Sportzino Legal States
Sportzino Sportsbook is available to anyone older than 18 and residing in 46 US states, excluding:
- Idaho
- Georgia
- Michigan
- Washington
Banking
The no-purchase policy stands true, so you don’t have to buy any GC packages. But if you want to, you can use:
- Visa
- Discover
- Mastercard
- Skrill
- Trustly
- Bank Transfer
Redemption-wise, you can use gift cards, Trustly, Skrill, and bank transfers. My pick of the betting deposits here is gift cards, as it takes less than 24 hours to get them.
Apps
Sportzino has a designated app for Android users, but still doesn’t have a native mobile app for iOS devices. For iPhone or Apple device users, you can create home screen shortcut, to access the social sportsbook faster. I’ve never had a site glitch or any issues playing on mobile. Though, I have to say if your connection is slow, you may experience some lagging.
Top Sportzino Sportsbook Features
Apart from the 3 major sellers I already mentioned, I’m a fan of Sportzino for the following sports-specific features:
- I get to enjoy a 0% margin for soccer 1×2 bets, which include single, parlay, and Round Robins predictions before the match starts. The same 0% margin applies to moneyline bets for basketball, football, baseball, and ice hockey. The down part? No live odds are included.
- Same game parlay is an option, and I often find boosted odds for it. I know that parlays aren’t everyone’s favorite, given that you lose everything if one pick is a loss, but I sure love the limitless multipliers.
- Early payout is available, just like at the real money sportsbooks, and I’m all in for it. The wins are a bit lower, but it gives me peace of mind when it’s looking like a game is going south.
Customer Support
Sportzino takes the happiness and satisfaction of its players very seriously. With that being said, the site offers some good options that allows you to get in touch if the need arises.
The first port of call should be the FAQ page, which can be accessed by clicking the menu button (the three horizontal bars to the left of the screen) and then hit the FAQ and support button. You can then browse through all of the FAQs.
If you can’t find what you are looking for then you can contact the customer service team by submitting a ticket or sending an email. I had a good look around for a live chat option but couldn’t find one. The team at Sportzino are friendly and you can expect a response within 24 hours.
Conclusion
If you live in a state where real money sportsbooks aren’t legal or if you want to have some fun without spending actual money, Sportzino is really the place to be. You get plenty of free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins even without purchasing, and all of the essential sports betting features are available—NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and whatnot!
