A fivefold bet combines five individual bets into one. However, many punters find it difficult to calculate the combined odds and potential returns from this acca, especially as it involves multiple selections and varying odds.

Our Fivefold Bet Calculator makes this process simple by calculating your potential winnings instantly. When you provide the odds for each selection of your fivefold acca, usually five or more, the calculator quickly computes the combined odds and potential payout. This allows you to see exactly what you stand to gain from placing a fivefold bet without manually punching a calculator.

You can also use our calculator to experiment with different selections and odds. Whenever you adjust odds with our tool, you get an instant view of how these changes affect your potential returns.

Using Our Fivefold Bet Calculator

Since the fivefold is a type of accumulator bet, you can calculate returns from your fivefold bet with our Accumulator calculator.

The first step to calculate the outcome of your fivefold bet with our tool is to enable ‘Fold Options.’ Once done, specify how many sporting events you want to combine into accas by clicking the dropdown menu next to ‘Number of Selections.’ A fivefold bet requires a minimum of five selections and you can set up to twenty selections with our tool. You can also enable the ‘Each Way?’ and ‘Show Rule 4?’ options to account for unforeseen circumstances during the events.

The ‘Outcome’ section of the calculator allows you to enter how you expect each event to end. For a fivefold bet to be successful, each selection must be won. If you have only five selections, entering any other outcome besides ‘Winner’ will result in the entire bet losing. However, if you have more than five selections, you can toggle the outcomes between ‘Winner’, ‘Lost’, and ‘Dead Heat’ to see how the combos affect your total return and profit.

Our calculator is set to allow American odds by default. However, you can switch to ‘Fractions’ or ‘Decimal’ odds under settings. Enter the odds for each event of the fivefold acca under the ‘Odds’ part of our calculator. You can get accurate odds by checking the event’s lines on your preferred bookie.

The ‘Stake Type’ section allows you to specify whether you’re placing a ‘stake per bet’ or ‘total combined stake.’ Enter your stake amount under the ‘5-Fold’ section. Our calculator instantly calculates the total bet outlay, return, and profit once the stake is provided. These details are then immediately displayed under ‘Summary’, giving you an idea of whether your bet will be profitable.

Understanding Fivefold Bets

A fivefold bet is an accumulator that combines five different bet selections into one ticket. For a fivefold bet to win, all the selections on the bet slip must be predicted correctly. If only one of these selections is lost, the fivefold acca will be settled as a loss.

To place a fivefold acca bet, punters must select five different events or outcomes. These events or outcomes can either be from the same sport or a combo of different sports. The odds for each event/outcome are then combined to determine the total odds for the fivefold bet.

An example of a fivefold bet from a selection of games at the European and South American football championships is provided below:

  • England to win against Denmark @ 1.74 odds
  • Italy to win against Croatia @ 2.49 odds
  • Spain to draw against Germany @ 3.16 odds
  • Argentina to win against Canada @ 1.32 odds
  • Uruguay to win against the USA @ 2.44 odds

The total odds for a fivefold bet are gotten by multiplying the odds for each selection together. Therefore, the combined odds for the sample fivefold acca above would be:

1.74 x 2.49 x 3.16 x 1.32 x 2.44 = 44.1 odds

The potential payout for a fivefold bet is calculated by multiplying the stake with the combined odds. As a result, the potential return for a £10 bet on our sample fivefold acca will be:

£10 x 44.1 odds = £441

Creating Fivefold Bets from Multiple Selections

You can also create and bet on multiple fivefold accas from a selection of more than five sporting events. In this case, all possible combos of five events from your selection pool are created by your bookie, and you can then proceed to bet on each acca.

The formula to calculate the number of fivefold bets that are created from a specific number of selections is given as:

Fivefold Formula 1

‘n’ in this instance refers to the number of teams or events that make up your selections.

Our tool operates on this formula and can compute the returns of several fivefold bets from up to twenty selections within seconds!

Say you’re looking to create fivefold bets from a pool of seven selections; The number of fivefold accas that will be created for you to bet on is calculated as follows:

Fivefold Formula 2

This means that 21 different fivefold bet combinations can be obtained from a selection of seven games. Each fivefold acca is treated as a separate bet. Therefore, if you were to place a £1 bet on each of them, you would stake £21 in total.
