Luis Enrique’s PSG side swept aside Arsenal to book their place in Munich, while Inter Milan came through one of the most topsy-turvy, exciting semi-finals we have ever seen against Barcelona to reach their second Champions League final in three seasons.
It is only the second time PSG have ever reached the showpiece game in European football and it is a huge opportunity to finally deliver the trophy their owners and supporters have craved.
Inter, meanwhile, are looking to be crowned the kings of Europe for the fourth time and will be looking for redemption after losing the 2023 final 1-0 to Manchester City.

PSG arrive to the final in a rich vein of form having won plaudits from all over Europe for their performances in the competition this year. They have won four games on the spin, easily claimed the Ligue 1 title, and also won the Coupe de France last week. It is not as if they have had a simple run to the final, either. They have beaten Aston Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal along the way. There have been some nervy moments, they lost the first leg at home to Liverpool and were under a huge amount of pressure at Villa, but they came through it.
Luis Enrique has found a perfect balance for his side, there is a structure to them and they are less reliant on individual brilliance to win. They no longer look to stars like Neymar, Messi, or Mbappé to get them over the line, it is all about the team.
However, it will not be easy on Saturday. Inter Milan have also come through some huge tests, edging out Bayern Munich then winning a thriller against Barcelona. They have only lost once in Europe all season and they are unbeaten in their last eight UCL games.
Marcus Thurman and Lautaro Martinez are two strikers who complement each other well, while their wing-backs are constantly up and down and are key to both their defensive and attacking phases of play.
In Simone Inzaghi, they have one of the best in-game managers. He constantly adapts during the 90 minutes to how the game is playing out and is a master tactician. They will go into this game as underdogs but that will not phase them.
