The last round of La Liga is upon us, and with European places still to play for and one relegation place not yet fixed, this last round could produce plenty of drama. Not many matches have worthy 1+ goals betting odds, but we have found our picks for this week.
Alaves vs Osasuna

Alaves have had a pretty good run of form in recent matches, beating Valencia and Valladolid 1-0 each. The team can now end the season on a 3 match winning streak if they can pull off a home win, but it won’t be easy against Osasuna, who have their sights on a Conference League place within arm’s reach, or possibly even a Europa League place.
Osasuna are 9th in the league, with 51 points, and level on points with Rayo Vallecano (8th), and a solitary point behind Celta (7th). 8th place wins a place in next season’s Conference League and 7th place would win a berth to the Europa League, and Osasuna will fancy their chances. The previous game, at Osasuna, finished 2-2, but we don’t see Osasuna letting up this golden opportunity.

Getafe vs Celta de Vigo

Talking about Europa and Conference League places, Celta will travel to Getafe, and if they can win, they should hold onto their Europa League place. Celta have conceded 56 goals in the season so far, but they have scored 57 goals, and their matches are often packed with action.
Celta lost last weekend to Rayo Vallecano, ending a two match winning run against Sociedad and Sevilla. Getafe, on the other hand, ended a whopping 6-match losing streak last weekend with an away win against Mallorca. Neither will settle for a draw, and Celta should turn on the heat here.

Vallecano vs Mallorca

The loss to Getafe last weekend cancelled Mallorca’s chances of getting European football next season, finishing what was a promising season on quite a bitter note. The team lost their last 2 matches, despite scoring in both of them, and now will play their final match against Vallecano, who are 8th in the league and 4 points ahead.
Vallecano must win this match in order to fend off Osasuna, and goals are needed in abundance. The teams share a goal difference of -4 and both have 51 points, so this could really go down to the wire. Vallecano may be ahead right now, but Osasuna play a weaker opponent in Alaves, and they will be keen to pile on the goals.

La Liga 2
This week, we have had to delve into the Segunda Division, or Spanish La Liga 2 for our Over 0.5 goals picks. The odds for 1+ goals on the first division games were just too short to merit any tries, except for the bets we have singled out above. So, expanding our horizons a little, we included a few second division games to fuel our acca.
Burgos vs Levante
May 25, Sunday @ 17:30
Levante sit at the top of the table with 73 points, but they cannot afford to be complacent here against Burgos. The team is on track to promotion, but if both Mirandes and Elche win (2nd and 3rd, both with 71 points), and Levante loses, they could slip from first to third, where they will need to go through the promotion playoffs. The team has scored 65 goals in 40 matches, and have a good record against Burgos.
Burgos sits in 12th place and have never beaten Levante. In their 5 H2H matches, two ended in draws and Levante won the other 3. It will be quite a challenge for Burgos, who have only won 1 of their last 4 matches, but 5 of Levante’s last 7 matches featured BTTS, so this could be a close encounter.

Tenerife vs Real Oviedo

Tenerife sit 20th in the table rankings and are consigned to relegation to the Primera Federacion. The team had a winning run of 3 matches back in March, but they are currently on a 6 match winless streak. To make matters more concerning, 3 of those matches ended 0-0. If there is any scoring done here, Real Oviedo are the more likely of the two to be kicking them in.
Real Oviedo is 4th in the league, with 69 points, and are guaranteed to get into the playoffs. On a points basis, they could break the top 2, but then they would need Mirandes and Elche to either lose or draw – and Real Oviedo would need to win this game by loads of goals. Tenerife has gotten the better of Real Oviedo twice in their 3 most recent H2H matches, but we don’t see them holding back Real Oviedo in this one.

Cadiz vs Huesca

Cadiz have played out a few 0-0 draws this season, 4 of which have come in 2025 alone, but 3 of their last 5 matches have featured both teams scoring and have ended in 3 or more goals scored. They lost last weekend to Racing de Ferrol, who are deep in the relegation zone, a shocking result that riled up the fans and puts the pressure on the team to bounce back here with a win.
Huesca beat Cadiz at home earlier in the season in a 3-1 showing in which they were also reduced to 10 men. The team beat Elche last weekend, to draw closer to the top 6, but Huesca will need nothing short of a miracle to make the playoffs. They have a good goal scoring record, but they have not been great in recent away matches. In fact, Huesca have not won an away match since February, but here against Cadiz they may just end that unwanted streak.

Eibar vs Cordoba

Eibar overtook Cordoba in the league rankings after stringing together 2 straight wins. They will travel to Levante in the final round, so momentum is key and Eibar will not look to waste any chances. They have only conceded 39 goals in the season, the joint second lowest in the league, but Eibar needs to strengthen their attack. They may have won their last 2 matches, but now have a more difficult opponent to take on in Cordoba.
Cordoba has had a rollercoaster of a season, and the team looks like it has finally run out of steam. They lost their last 2 games, and only have 1 win from their past 6. It seems the defences cannot hold a cleansheet, but Cordoba has a pretty fierce attack – all of their last 4 matches have featured both teams scoring. In this match, though, Eibar look the more likely of the two to score and clinch all three points.

Serie A
After both Inter and Napoli drew last weekend, the title race is still open and anything can happen on the final day of the Serie A. We only found one Over 0.5 goals bet to pick for the Serie A, with nice and lengthy odds and a realistic shot of coming through.
Empoli vs Verona

The only match in the final round of the Serie A with good value odds is Empoli vs Verona. Empoli is 18th in the league, in the relegation zone, but they are level on points with Lecce (17th), and a win here could even see Empoli overtake Verona (15th), who have 3 points more than they do. Lecce will play Lazio at the same time, and they don’t have much chance of beating them. But a win against Verona could see Empoli draw level with Verona and overtake them based on the H2H.
Verona are so close to staying afloat, and anything but a loss would see them through. The first game between these two ended 1-4 to Empoli, so if Verona lose here, there is a very real chance they will get relegated. Empoli comes into this match on the back of 2 straight wins, and are the favourites to make it 3.

It’s hard to find worthy odds on Over 0.5 Goals markets for an entire game, but for something a little more daring, you can bet on 1+ Goals for the first half of a game. These markets provide longer odds and pay out quicker – and I would emphasise the importance of having a good cash out plan. Make sure you have downloaded your betting app, as this saves precious seconds for any bet that you want to cash in.
Goalless first halves are far more commonplace, and there is a lot of value to be had in any league. Compared with the Over 0.5 Goals markets above, where I usually head to the Serie A and La Liga (in which 0-0 draws occur more frequently than, say the Bundesliga or Premier League). In this market, I would easily consider the Premier League and Bundesliga, in addition to the Serie A and La Liga.

I don’t need as many picks to hit the longer odds here, but extra caution is needed. The time of the day, weather, and stadium atmosphere can all play into whether the first half will be a goalfest or a painful 0-0.
Serie A
The Scudetto will be decided on Friday night, as Inter and Napoli take on Como and Cagliari, respectively. But for our Over 0.5 HT Goals predictions, we are going to steer away to the Sunday matches, where there are plenty of highly promising fixtures that could well produce first half goals. Our last picks of the Serie A are in, and our experts have found lengthy odds for this fast-paced betting market. To make matters better, they all play at the same time so you can get your cash out at the ready – if called for.
Lazio vs Lecce

Lazio are 6th in the league, a place that will grant them Conference League football next season, but they will be eyeing the 5th place and look to beat their fierce local rivals AS Roma to get a place in the Europa League. They are just 1 point behind Roma, who will travel to Torino in what could be a tricky game for Claudio Ranieri’s team. So the pressure is on Lazio, and they will look to come in strong and score early.
Fortunately, for Lazio, Lecce shouldn’t pose too much of a problem. The team is just above the relegation zone, though they could very easily fall into 18th place if things don’t go their way. And Lecce have had little to no luck against the top teams in the league. They lost the past 2 H2H matches against Lazio, and Lazio shouldn’t drop any points here.

Atalanta vs Parma

Atalanta have scored 9 goals in their last 3 matches, and they seem to have found great late season form. A perfect way to settle into third place and finish on a high, possibly attracting big name players in the transfer window. They are quick to score goals, scoring 36 of their 76 goals in the first half.
Parma sit in 16th place, and they, like Lecce, may face relegation if the teams below them gain points this weekend. They have no need to panic just yet, but if Atalanta start hammering Parma in the first half, there may be bells for concern. The team held Napoli to a 0-0 draw last weekend, but we don’t see them frustrating Atalanta in the same way. It should be an exciting match, and Atalanta has no shortage of quality attackers to open the scoring.

Venezia vs Juventus

The odds were too good to miss on this one, despite the fact that Juve didn’t score first half goals for their last 2 matches. Juventus was held to a 2-2 draw at home against Venezia, and now they have their chance to come to the Venetian team and take all three points. And given that they are 4th in the league and just 1 point above AS Roma, Juventus must produce a win here.
Venezia are in the relegation zone, and their fate is all but sealed. If they win, and if Empoli and Lecce both lose, Venezia may just salvage something of the season, but it is unlikely. Nevertheless, we expect them to give Juventus a good match, and for the first half to produce many chances on goal.
