I said last week the title race was all wrapped up. I think you can now put a bow on that as Arsenal could only manage a draw at Old Trafford while Liverpool defeated doomed Southampton to extend their league at the top.
It looks like the most exciting aspect of the final stretch of this Premier League season will be the chase for European places, with just five points between third and ninth.
Here is our game week 29 acca.
Everton vs
West Ham
Details: Saturday, March 15th, 3.00 pm, Goodison Park
I thought the David Moyes derby would be a good place to start. Since returning to Everton, Moyes has masterminded a turnaround, moving the Toffees away from the relegation zone into the safety of mid-table as they look forward to moving into their new home next season. They go into this one off the back of four successive draws, so while they have been hard to beat, Moyes will want to turn those into wins. He knows all about this weekend’s opponents, of course, having enjoyed success with the Hammers, winning the UEFA Conference League last season.
It was a disappointing evening on Monday for Graham Potter and his side, as they looked blunt throughout their 1-0 home defeat to Newcastle. It was all the more frustrating when you consider they went into that game off the back of successive wins, one of those a very impressive 1-0 win at the Emirates. Potter will use the rest of this season to get to know his players more and who he wants to keep as they look towards the summer.
I don’t think there will be many goals in this one, but I am taking Everton to edge it.

Arsenal vs
Chelsea
Details: Sunday, March 16th, 1.30 pm, Emirates Stadium
The biggest league game of the weekend comes from the Emirates, as second-placed Arsenal look to get back to winning ways against London rivals Chelsea. All the talk and narrative around the Gunners has been a lack of striker. A lot of people felt they needed a striker before the season started, and those shouts grew louder as long term injuries to Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, and Kai Havertz has seen midfielder Mikel Merino play up front recently. They still remain an extremely tough team to beat with an excellent defence, but a lack of a top class forward has likely cost them the title this year.
Chelsea have also faced striker problems this season. Nicolas Jackson remains somewhat of an enigma, very good on his day, but still lacks that killer instinct. He has been injured for a while, along with fellow striker Marc Guiu, which has seen Christopher Nkunku, Cole Palmer, and Pedro Neto adopt the central striker role at various times. Neto seems to have been the best option, but it is still far from ideal. When you add that Chelsea still can’t decide who their No.1 keeper is, and there is still lots to figure out with this side.
I think Arsenal will be too strong for Chelsea in this one, who I just don’t trust.
Arsenal to win @ 3/4
Fulham vs
Spurs
Details: Sunday, March 16th, 1.30 pm, Craven Cottage
There is another London derby on Sunday afternoon, as Fulham welcome Spurs to the West side of the city. It was a heart-breaking defeat last weekend for Fulham, who led at Brighton before being pegged back and then losing to a last minute penalty. Marco Silva has ensured his side has been competitive in the majority of games they have played this season, and they have pulled off some very impressive results. They remain in the F.A Cup so there could also still be a trophy at the end of this campaign.
It was a typical Spurs game last weekend. Up and down, chances, goals and excitement. We can at least say they showed a lot of character to come from two goals down to draw level, but then there is the other side that questions how open they are. The good news for Tottenham fans was Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven returning to the side. They have missed both this season and they should make a difference.
You just never know with Spurs. They will likely score and concede in this one, and I am going for Fulham to pick up the win.

PL Acca
I have gone for three home wins this weekend, but I think all three will be close games. There is not a lot riding on the Everton-West Ham game but Moyes will want to get one over his former side. I think Arsenal will be too strong for the enigma that is Chelsea while Fulham and Spurs I think will see the most goals with the Cottagers coming out on top.
