The biggest game of the Premier League weekend undoubtedly comes from the Etihad on Sunday. The champions, Man City, who currently sit top of the pile take on their biggest challengers over recent years and the team that currently sits directly below them, Arsenal.

Yes, we are only four games into the new season, but this already feels like a really big game. Even this early into the season, both teams have already shown their credentials, storming to the top two places of the league and cementing themselves as the sides to beat. Of course, nothing will be decided on Sunday, but psychologically, a win could provide a huge boost while defeat could mean doubts start to creep in.

I have taken a look at an interesting bet builder for the big clash.

Low Scoring Affair?

While I am sure the game will be tense and with all of the stars on display it will surely be a high-quality match, I can see this being low scoring.  Arsenal have the best defence in the league, and have relied on that backline to pick up points. Last week one of their defenders even came up trumps in the goals column, heading in the winner at Spurs. Saliba and Gabriel are a formidable pair while Ben White and Timber provide solidity in the full back positions.

Arsenal earned a hard fought draw in this fixture last season, with a 0-0 draw, and I can see similar this time around, which has come into my thinking with the bet builder below:

Betting Tools & Calculators
Draw or Arsenal to win Double Chance
vs Man City
Bukayo Saka over 0.5 shots on target
vs Man City
Gabriel Martinelli over 0.5 shots on target
vs Man City

Another 0-0 draw or Arsenal nicking this game by the odd goal wouldn’t surprise me at all. Yes, City are a powerhouse and Erling Haaland is a machine, but they are not invincible. Inter Milan proved in midweek you can go there, keep a clean sheet and look threatening at the other end. In fact, Inter deserved to win the game.

Arsenal will rely on that back four and look to hit on the counter. Bukayo Saka is always a threat and likes a shot, and Martinelli on the other side also enjoys cutting in a getting a shot off. Getting the whole three points might be a stretch too far, especially with Martin Ødegaard missing, but they are fully capable of keeping a clean sheet and at least getting a draw.
